Al-Duhail Sports Club held on Tuesday evening the first general assembly meeting at Al-Duhail Sports Hall, in the presence of all members of the general assembly who meet all the administrative requirements.

During the meeting, H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani was elected as new President of Al-Duhail Sports Club, succeeding H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the former president. Khalifa Khamis Al Sulaiti was elected as vice president of the club.

Opening the meeting, General Manager of Al-Duhail SC Adnan Al Ali welcomed the attendees and discussed the report of the auditor and the financial position of the club, and then the formation of the membership and elections committee.

After that, H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani addressed the attendees and extended thanks to H.E. Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani for the attention and care he attached to the club until it became one of the strongest clubs at the local and the Asian levels, which prompts doubling efforts to continue the march of achievements.

H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani also thanked the attendees for taking part in the works of the general assembly, and for giving him the confidence to preside over the club in the coming period.
