The GOALZ programme, in partnership with the QSL continued this week by visiting 6 schools to deliver the innovative in-school football coaching courses.

Such is the global reach of football and the cosmopolitan population of Qatar, residents of 42 nationalities, and over 1200 participants, have had the chance to engage with the QSL and benefit from the programme.

The first term of GOALZ visits 6 schools across the state of Qatar:

· TNG Ain Khalid, the Lebanese School,
· Newton British Academy
· TNG Nuaija
· Birla Primary School
· Compass International School (Al-Rayyan & Gharafa)

Each school have received professional standard coaching by the GOALZ team and vital education towards a healthy lifestyle.

Next week will herald the start of the GOALZ in-school festivals when more youths will receive the opportunity to sample more QSL inspired fun-filled activities.

GOALZ will run across a total of 5 terms - and 30 schools - throughout the 2015/16 in what is the most extensive schools football scheme in the country. An amount of 15,000 youths are expected to engage with the QSL by the end of the school year.

The programme aims to connect the QSL and its 14 member clubs to the heart of the local community through working with schools.
