Qatar bagged multiple gold medals at the 23rd Arab Athletics Championships that took place from 20 June to 24 June 2023.

The gold medal in the category of 100m sprint was won by Femi Ogunode with a time of 10.19 seconds, and the 400m also witnessed a victory for Qatar as Ashraf Hussain won the gold medal.

Femi Ogunode also achieved the gold medal in the category of the 200m race with a time of 20.53 seconds. Bassem Hamidah achieved a gold medal for the category of 400m hurdles race with a winning time of 48.79 seconds.

Qatar also won a gold medal for the category of pole jumping by Saif Hamidah who had a winning score of 5.40m.
