Qatar handball team are continuing their preparations for the upcoming Asian Championship, which is set to take place in Kuwait from January 16 to 27.
The competition also acts as a qualifier to the world cup that will take place in Egypt in 2021.
The team will play a friendly match with Iran on Saturday before leaving for Croatia to take part in a friendly tournament to be held from January 2 to 7.
Qatar are in Group B of the Asian Championships alongside Japan and China.
They start their campaign on January 16 with the match against China.
