The Qatar Football Association won the AFC Coaching Pool Award - Professional Level, 3-Star Elite Youth Program, and the Gold Level of the Promising Charter presented by the AFC.

The Asian Football Confederation celebrated the concerted efforts made by its member associations to raise the standards of the game on the continent during the technical approval ceremony at the Asian Football Confederation on 31 October in Doha.

The certificate of honor was received by His Excellency Mr. Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain, President of the Qatar Football Association, from Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation, during the event held on the sidelines of the 2022 AFC Annual Awards Ceremony in Doha, which witnessed the presence of the President of the Asian Football Confederation.

By presenting certificates of honor to member associations that have been accredited under the AFC’s advanced technical programs, namely the Promising Charter, the Asian Training Gathering, and the AFC Elite Youth Program.

Certificates of honor for the training gathering were won from the member associations of the Asian Confederation - in addition to the Qatari Federation - the Australian Federation, the Japanese Federation, and the South Korean Football Association.
