Qatar Calendar House, on 4 May 2024, has said that the Eta Aquarid meteor shower will reach its peak on Saturday, 4 May 2024, evening and will extend until the dawn of 5 May 2024.

It can be seen towards the southeastern horizon of the sky of Qatar from after midnight until dawn on 5 May 2024. Qatar Calendar House has also said that it is preferable to monitor from places far from light and environmental pollutants. Halley's comet is the source of the Eta Aquarid meteor shower.
