Qatar played against Indonesia in the AFC U23 Asian Cup 2024 opening match on 15 April 2024 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. The match kicked off at 6:30 p.m.
Qatar's Khaled Ali secured the match's first goal in the 45+1 minute after successfully converting a penalty, taking the score to 1-0 in favour of Qatar before halftime.
Ahmed Al Rawi from Qatar scored the last goal of the match in the 51st minute, extending the team's lead to 2-0 at full-time.
