According to a report by ESPN, Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier confirmed in a pre-game conference of PSG's final Ligue 1 match of the season that Lionel Messi will leave the club after playing for the team for 2 years.
"I had the privilege of coaching the best player in the history of football. This will be his last match at the Parc des Princes, and I hope that he will receive the warmest of welcomes." Galtier shared.
As per ESPN, Messi's contract with the club expires this summer and is reportedly considering a move to Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal, the city rivals of Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr.
Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 after playing for FC Barcelona for 21 years.
