CEO and Founder of ILoveQatar.net and Store974, Khalifa Al Haroon, has been appointed as Executive Director of the Qatar ESports Federation.

Along with this, Ahmed Al Meghessib was also appointed as Head of Sports Affairs Sector and Dana Al Madhoun as Supervisor of Women’s Esports.

Sarah Al Misnad was also appointed as an Advisor to the Qatar ESports Federation.

Khalifa Al Haroon was also previously elected as a committee official for the Arab Union for Esports in September 2023.

Qatar ESports Federation officially launched in September 2022 to foster esports in Qatar, expand community participation, and develop regulations and plans to promote esports in the country and region.
