Vodafone Qatar has introduced its newest promotion on international calls yesterday enabling customers to call anywhere in the world at the rate of 50 dirhams per minute, to any network at any time. “We are proud to have the largest network of partners around the world, with over 500 telecommunications companies globally” said Michael Portz, Chief Marketing Officer, at Vodafone Qatar. The promotion will be available to all existing customers and new customers as well who join Vodafone from July 21 until the end of September. Existing customers will automatically get access to this offer. “With Vodafone, customers always get a lot more. All Vodafone customers can now call anywhere in the world for only 50 Dirhams per minute – and in many cases for even less. We are in the middle of the holiday season and approaching the holy month of Ramadan and the special time of Eid Al Fitr. Vodafone is excited about giving customers the opportunity to keep in touch with their family and friends all across the world, for no more than what they pay for local call” said Portz. Customers can join Vodafone to get access to these offers and more, by simply visiting one of Vodafone’s stores around Qatar, or by going to the online shop, and join a flexi plan, and set-up freedom account. “The first 1000 customers have been moved to the Flexi plan already, and are being automatically given this offer” said Portz. When asked about new promotion and offers the customers might expect from Vodafone, Portz said: “There will be more exciting offers and promotions following the end of this one. We are soon going to be announcing partnerships with more banks here in Qatar, where postpaid customers can automatically pay for their bills through their bank account. http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local%5FNews&subsection=Qatar+News&month=July2009&file=Local_News2009072124955.xml
