British Charg・d'Affaires and Head of Mission Roddy Drummond yesterday welcomed the London signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Armed Forces of Qatar and the British Armed Forces. Brigadier Hamed Ahmed Ali Al Noaimi, Commander of the Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College and Air Vice Marshal Christopher Nickols, UK Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff (Operations), signed the MoU on July 1 at the conclusion of a successful session of joint UK-Qatar staff talks. Under the agreement, the British Armed Forces are committed to assisting the staff of the Ahmed bin Mohammed College to develop a military course for cadets attending the College.
