The Qatar Rail has announced that two streets will be partially closed from today for a short period due to works related to the Doha Metro project.
Majlis Al Taawon and Omer Al Mukhtar streets, near Doha Corniche, will be partially closed from Thursday, August 2 till August 19.
The streets are closed due to the road reinstatement works due to completion of the construction of Corniche, West Bay and DECC metro stations.
The streets will not be accessible for traffic partially on weekdays and weekends from 11pm to 5am.
Qatar Rail has made great strides in the implementation of the railway project and by the end of this year most of the work in the stations will be completed.
Qatar Rail has made remarkbale progress on Doha Metro projects and by the end of May 2018 project progress stood at 85%.
