Tse Yang and MEGU at The Pearl-Qatar Re-Open
Iconic restaurants MEGU and Tse Yang at The Pearl-Qatar have re-opened after a short hiatus. Refreshed and ready to serve their loyal clientele, MEGU and Tse Yang opened their doors to diners earlier this month. Operated by Hospitality Development Company (HDC), a wholly own subsidiary of United Development Company (UDC), both restaurants have set new standards in dining experiences and have both already been honored with a slew of awards. “HDC focuses on owning, developing and operating world-class hospitality projects and brands and both MEGU and Tse Yang exemplify this commitment,” HDC General Manager Food and Beverage Eric Leprevost said. “The restaurants have now had time to rejuvenate and refocus on their commitment to serving the most innovative and delicious dishes and we look forward to welcoming our regular customers as well as new ones.” MEGU, one of the most exclusive Japanese restaurants in the world, goes beyond a usual dining experience, as it encompasses a lifestyle and refined cultural experience. With a home base in New York, MEGU Doha’s signature dishes include MEGU Original Crispy Asparagus and Wagyu Kobe Beef Chateaubriand. Opened in 2011, with its sleek interior design and fashionable vibe, MEGU has become one of Doha’s hottest spots. Tse Yang meanwhile, originates in Paris and has redefined traditional Chinese cuisine, bringing to The Pearl-Qatar a “little piece of China” with its popular BBQ duck and dim sum dishes wowing diners since opening in 2010. The name Tse Yang refers to a part of Beijing’s famous Forbidden City and is designed to evoke the glamour of the Chinese emperors. The design balances modern luxury with classical touches to create an authentic air of luxury. Both MEGU and Tse Yang are open seven days a week and are situated at Porto Arabia at The Pearl-Qatar, the Middle East’s most glamorous address. Screen Shot 2012-06-14 at 11.08.10.png - ILQ news -
