To facilitate the extension works of Al Khor sewage network, the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ will close the eastbound carriageway of Al-Ameer Road in Al Khor. The tow-lane westbound carriageway of the road will become a tow-way road with one lane in each direction. The closure will be effective starting 3 April 2014 and will last for 10 months
Ashghal appeals to all commuters within the area to cooperate by driving safely and carefully and respect the speed limit during the diversions.
The extension of Al Khor sewage network project is part of Ashghal’s Roads and Infrastructure in Local Areas programme, which is a nationwide programme that includes the development of roads, drainage and new infrastructure in all areas of Qatar.
