In a recent tweet, The General Directorate of Traffic informed the owners of vehicles that have been impounded for more than three months to visit the Traffic Investigation Section at the Industrial Area - Street No.52 to complete the necessary procedures and retrieve their vehicles. This can be done by paying the relevant penalties and ground fees within 30 days of this announcement, which is effective from Monday, 4th September 2023.

If the owner of an impounded vehicle fails to claim it within the specified period, the General Directorate of Traffic will put it up for sale in a public auction.
