FIA World Touring Car Championship — Thursday-Friday

The FIA World Touring Car Championship visits the Qatar track for a floodlit and spectacular sight from 24-25 November.

It will be the last round of the FIA World Touring Car Championship

While José María López has wrapped up his third WTCC title, the battle for the coveted runner-up spot and, indeed, third place will be intense.

Yvan Muller, López’s factory Citroën team-mate and preparing for his final WTCC races before he retires, occupies second on 235 points but works Honda trio Tiago Monteiro (204 points), Norbert Michelisz (190) and Rob Huff (180) all retain mathematical possibilities to snatch the position.

The Moroccan driver Mehdi Bennani, who became the first Arabic driver to win an FIA world championship motor race when he won at WTCC Race of China in 2014, will head to the Middle East as the WTCC Trophy winner for 2016 following another impressive season driving a Sébastien Loeb Racing Citroën C-Elysée WTCC. He is sixth in the WTCC Drivers’ standings with 176 points but could end up a career-high third in the table if results go his way in Qatar.

The entrance at the Grandstand and PADDOCK is free for the two-day event, so come to live all the excitement of this championship at the circuit!

The minimum age is 15 years old, and any participant under the age of 18 needs written permission by a legal guardian. It is compulsory to bring a helmet along for safety reasons, if not available, the circuit can provide you one.

White Night in the Desert is Back with Doha String Quartet — Friday

After several very successful "White Night Events" in the last years the Doha String Quartet and Friends once again join Arabian Adventures Qatar to bring you its next edition of the "White Night in the Desert".

In addition to enjoying all that the desert and the newly re-vamped Arabian Adventures Camp have to offer (beach volleyball, sand boarding, hiking, swimming, Arabian BBQ, dune-bashing, etc) you will be taken on a musical journey through the different styles of music from the early Baroque to the modern day.

There will be two pickup times available to attend the event:

1st pick up from Sealine Beach Resort at 3:30 pm

2nd pick up from Sealine Beach Resort at 4:30 pm
