Ladies Training Days at Losail International Circuit — Tuesday

Girls just wanna have fun! The Losail International Circuit will be hosting Ladies Training Days twice a month!

The Losail track will be open only for ladies to be able to exercise in one of the largest venues in Doha with privacy, as well as enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, such as cycling, walking, running or rollerblading.

Bicycles and gear will be available so ladies won’t have to bring their personal cycles from home. There will be special trainers available to provide yoga lessons, a mini-bootcamp; walking, jogging and other activities. There will also be an allocated area for children. A small rental fee for bicycles will be charged: QR 35 for 1st hour, QR 40 for 2nd hour.

You will be asked to complete a registration form and sign a waiver.

Distance: The Track is 5.31km long. You can do as many laps as you like during the scheduled time.

Security: There will be an abaya and bag check-in station. No men will be allowed inside the track area. CCTV will only be monitored by female staff.

*Please note only boys under 9 years of age will be allowed inside the track.*

Come and enjoy the free cycling, running and walking facilities at Losail International Circuit every Wednesday!

Car Park Area: Inside the Circuit next to the Paddock Restaurant Parking

Rules:

Cyclists must use the track in an anti-clockwise direction, cycling on the inside of the track, overtaking to the left.

Runners and walkers can use the track in a clockwise direction on the outer track, between the blue line and fence. Crossing of the track is not permitted without the safety marshal's permission.

All cyclists (including small children) must wear a helmet and closed-toe shoes when using the track. A small rental fee will be charged for bicycles: QR 35 for 1st hour, QR 40 for 2nd hour

Anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Opals Exhibition at the Australian Embassy — Wednesday-June 15

The Opals Exhibition, which will showcase beautiful, precious opals from the South Australian Museum, begins this week!

The items have been selected from the South Australian Museum’s Opals exhibition which ran from late 2015 until early 2016.

The exhibition will include the Virgin Rainbow, the world’s finest opal valued at over AUD1 million, as well as other rare and precious items from the Museum’s collection. This is the first time the Virgin rainbow and many of the other items have been exhibited outside Adelaide or Australia!

Get ready for Karting at Losail International Circuit! Guaranteed to be heaps of fun for families and friends alike, it can also be reserved for private companies (upon request and availability)!

KARTING

For karting activities, the minimum age is 15 years old. Any participant under the age of 18 needs permission signed by a legal guardian to be able to use the karting facility.

It is also compulsory to bring a helmet along for safety reasons, if you don’t have one available, the circuit can provide you with one.
