Roots Latin American and Caribbean Festival — Tuesday-Saturday

It’s time for a South American fiesta! A lineup of performers showcasing the sights and sounds of Latin America and the Caribbean will be performing at Katara Cultural Village during the five-day Roots festival!

Get ready to be entertained by artists, musicians, and dancers from Ecuador, Venezuela, Argentina, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and Cuba!

Organizers have pointed out that all the performances will be staged in Katara’s Drama Theatre.

Qatar Motor Show 2017 — Tuesday-Saturday 



The Qatar Motor Show is back for its seventh year with a new theme: ‘Driving to innovation’, which aims to bring enthusiasts in Qatar up to speed with the latest trends and technologies from the global automotive scene! 


The Qatar Motor Show 2017 will include more than 21 brands that will showcase their latest technology, innovation, and performance trends.

Exhibiting brands include BAIC, BMW, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, Genesis, Harley Davidson, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Maxus, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Ram, Titanium and Toyota.

Karting & Minimoto at Losail Circuit Sports Club — Thursday and Friday

Get ready for the Karting and Minimoto track at Losail International Circuit! Guaranteed to be heaps of fun for families and friends alike, it can also be reserved for private companies (upon request and availability)!

Dates:

April: 13-14, 20-21, 27-28
May: 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, 25-26

KARTING

For karting activities, the minimum age is 15 years old. Any participant under the age of 18 needs permission signed by a legal guardian to be able to use the karting facility.

It is also compulsory to bring a helmet along for safety reasons, if you don’t have one available, the circuit can provide you with one.

MINI MOTO

For the mini moto track, participants should bring their own bike and safety equipment. 


NOTE: Calendar of Karting and Mini Moto Track activities is subject to change. Please check www.lcsc.qa for any calendar change.

For both activities, the registration will be done directly at the venue, at the VIP Car Park of the Losail International Circuit.

Community: Desert CleanUP — Friday

It’s time to give back to our community! Qatar’s deserts are vast and beautiful! It’s our job to make sure that they stay clean, not only for ourselves but for the environment too.

The Silent Volunteers (SV) have organized a desert clean-up with the help of local volunteers, to dispose of harmful litter. This is SV’s very first Environmental Awareness Campaign.

The desert cleanup will target Doha’s Singing Dunes, which is located near Mesaieed. Volunteers are encouraged to spread the awareness.

The following will be provided:
Large size garbage bags
Hand gloves
Refreshment

We request you to bring your own:
Sand Mats
Sun Cream
Sun Hat

This campaign is open to all the public. Kindly spread the message to your friends and colleagues. People are encouraged to spread the message!

The Idea Of North live in Doha — Sunday (April 23)
