After a cold spell that began last weekend, the Qatar Met department has said temperatures are expected to increase around the country from Thursday. The rise in mercury level will be due to the effect of southeasterly-southerly winds, which will peak on Saturday and Sunday when the maximum temperature is likely to touch 29C in Doha and the early 30Cs in the central parts of the country, the department said in a tweet Tuesday morning. Wednesday's detailed forecast says misty conditions will prevail in some places early in the morning, followed by moderate temperature during the day and some clouds. The night will be cold. Some clouds are likely in offshore areas, according to Gulf Times.
