Other stores including Lulu Hypermarkets, Al Meera and Giant Stores are also offering special ‘back to school’ prices on school items in anticipation of a shopping rush, which is expected to peak over the coming days as most schools are resuming on September 9 as per the directives from the Supreme Education Council. While some stores are offering customers gift vouchers such as QR25 on QR200 spent on every school item, others are gifting customers a tumbler set on every QR250 and a lunch box on every QR150 spent. A number of stores are also urging customers to buy more with their ‘buy two get one free’ promo. Gulf Times
