The 4th Annual Internal Case Competition was successfully concluded on Sunday 15th January 2012 at Stenden University – Qatar. This event gave the opportunity to students from different majors and study years to compete as teams in solving business cases and presenting solutions to a committee of judges chosen among the management and academic staff of the university. A total of ten teams competed intensively in a round-robin format to gain a place in the final. Teams composed of three or four students each, analyzed a business case and presented their ideas and solutions to a panel of judges. After 2 days of vigorous competition, ‘Athena Consultancy’ and ‘Inspire Consultants’ topped their divisions and competed for first and second place. In the final, ‘Athena Consultancy’ demonstrated stronger skills in analysis, critical thinking and presentation which catapulted them in the lead and hence winning the competition. During the closing ceremony, Mr. Wayne Johnson, president of Stenden University-Qatar thanked all the members of the organizing committee and the students for their participation and distinguished contribution to the success of the competition. ‘Athena Consultancy’s members Abdulla Al-Ghanim, Saima Bukhari, Sajid M.
