Shakespeare and Co. hosted an exclusive ladies’ afternoon tea where talented local and Qatari based designers were invited to showcase their collections of handmade jewellery and accessories to Qatar’s elite fashionistas whilst enjoying the finest of tea, assortments and hand crafted chocolates.
Five well-known local and Qatar based designers including Kellie Silva - Fashion Rocks Qatar, Tea Worrall-Dainty Jewellery, Dana Diala, Noura Kaloti-For the Love of Lolly and high-end Kuwaiti designer, Lulwa Al-Tarkait - Je La La showcased their beautiful collections during the event to over 50 VIP guests.
The unique atmosphere at Shakespeare and Co. with its furniture and hand-crafted decorations, along with the vintage collection of jewellery and accessories displayed, set the perfect scene for this event and made everyone feel as if they had been transported back to the Victorian era.
“We were really happy to host this event and are looking forward to more events where we can support local talent as well as provide our VIP customers with unique experiences,” commented Bachar Baath, Restaurant Manager.
Shakespeare and Co. is situated in the Dar Al Salam Mall and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 8:00am-11:30pm Sunday to Saturday.
