QRC sets up RFL for Nepal expats

Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) has announced to set up a “Restoring Family Links (RFL)” for Nepali expatriates in Qatar who have lost contacts with their families in the aftermath of Saturday earthquake. The centre was set up in collaboration with the international partners of QRC and Nepali Non-Resident Association (NRNA).

Affected people can approach the QRC at its office located in Old Salata area from today. The office will remain open from Sunday to Thursday between 10am and 1pm and 4pm and 7pm.The requests will be processed immediately and get quick response with full secrecy.

QRC also formed a team of experts and volunteer to provide physiological support to the Nepali nationals in Qatar traumatised after losing near and deer in the disaster as a social solidarity, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported. QRC has already launched a drive to collect QR12m for the relief of the affected people in Nepal and allocated an initial amount of QR1m to send urgent humanitarian aide to Nepal.
