The Qatar Meteorology Department has warned of strong northwesterly winds in-shore and off-shore starting Tuesday, 28 November 2023, until the end of the week. The weather forecast states that this will lead to a temperature drop in Qatar, especially in the southern and external areas.

During this period, a marine warning is in place with wave heights reaching 5 - 9 feet and may reach 12 feet. The Qatar Meteorology Department advises to avoid marine activities during this time.
