Qatar participates in online training at the seventh session of the Business Plan Competition organized by the Arab Technology Foundation The Arab Science and Technology, in cooperation with "Intel" World Organization and the United Nations Industrial Development, "UNIDO".
Dr Ghada Amer, vice president of the Executive Office of the Foundation The Arab Science and Technology, the number of countries participating in the competition after the closure of submission on 23 July, arrived in 15 countries, starting with Qatar Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Yemen , Bahrain, Iraq, Tunisia, Morocco and the Arab teams each from France, Italy and the United States of America, as the number of projects involved 72 projects in the areas of information technology and communications, new and renewable energy, environment, medicine, biotechnology and electronics.
The number of teams registered in the competition at the beginning $ 224 team, worked and 198 teams in the meet the requirements of the contest, and managed, including 112 teams from the provision of data and documents stipulated in the competition and met in the end, all the terms of the competition and the acceptance of business plans to participate, according to the conditions and criteria for the competition 72 teams.
