Holiday Inn Hotel in Doha last Sunday turned all-green with the grand launch of Oppo's current flagship phone, the 'Selfie Expert' F7. Boasting a whopping 25 MP selfie camera, F7 is stepping up the game to a whole new level as it is also the very first phone to use the Sony 576 Sensor with a HDR (High Dynamic Range) function in hardware (Sensor HDR).

Powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), the F7 features a Super Full Screen and glossy design ensured to produce only the 'perfect selfies.'

Business and media personalities were the first lucky ones to lay their eyes on the all-new F7—which comes in two varieties (64GB and 128GB)—proudly presented by the Oppo staff in front of a raving crowd.

One of the F7's most talked-about feature is the enhanced AI Beauty 2.0 technology which gives its users more reasons to take unlimited selfies even in backlit condition as the person and the background will still look clear and detailed despite the lighting hindrance. The technology also scans 296 facial recognition points, including arm and neck based on a person’s age, gender, skin colour and skin type.

Equipped with 3400 mAh battery and AI battery management for long battery endurance, the F7 is 20% improvement from its predecessor—the F5—allowing for a more precise and accurate facial recognition capability.

To top all these, Oppo personnel present during the media conference right after the launch disclosed that there will be a strong after-sale customer service for consumers who will buy the F7 upon its first few weeks of release. They also announced Oppo's long-planned global expansion plans with the mobile brand entering European markets later this year.

The F7 is being sold at QR 1,249 for the 64GB version with the bigger 128GB edition reasonably priced at QR 1,599 per piece. Users have three different color choices to suit their personality, namely Solar Red, Moonlight Silver, and the special Diamond Black edition.

Prime Distribution—which belongs to Ali Bin Ali group—is the official distributor for Oppo phones in Qatar.
