Qatar Customs announced via the X Platform on 4 September 2023 that a smuggling attempt of 7,476 narcotic Captagon pills was thwarted by the Customs Department of Hamad International Airport.
أحبطت إدارة جمارك مطار حمد الدولي محاولة تهريب حبوب مخدرة من قبل أحد المسافرين القادمين إلى الدولة ، وبفحص الحقيبة الخاصة بالمسافر تم العثور على عدد 7476 من حبوب الكبتاجون المخدرة ، و كيس من الحبوب المطحونة يزن 161.7 جرام، مخبأة بطريقة سرية أسفل الحقيبة .#جمارك_قطر pic.twitter.com/FwNCkuVlGR

A bag weighing 161.7 grams of crushed pills was also found.
Both narcotic substances were found discretely hidden at the bottom of a bag of a traveller coming into Qatar.
