Qatar customs stops smuggle of Captagon amounting to 81568 pieces

Qatar customs has posted a video on Twitter showing the institution's efforts in stopping the smuggling of Captagon into the country. The Air Cargo and Private Airports Customs Department, represented by the Air Cargo Customs Department, managed to seize a shipment of lighting fixtures wrapped in a box made of wood that was used to smuggle a large amount of Captagon, amounting to 81,568, which were placed in the pallet cavities.

The General Authority of Customs calls upon the general public to participate in the national campaign to combat crimes and customs violations by providing information related to the smuggling of prohibited or restricted goods or tampering with custom documents and invoices and other violations. Should the public witness such, they may report to Qatar Customs through [email protected] or 16500.
