Qatar Airways, the country’s national carrier, has announced adjustments to flight timings on its route between its Doha hub and Bahrain in a strategic move to offer even better passenger connectivity to destinations worldwide. Passengers traveling from Bahrain will be able to benefit from seamless, shorter connections to a wide range of attractive business and leisure cities served by the airline across Europe, Middle East, Africa, South Asia, Far East and North America. This was announced by Qatar Airways’ CEO, Akbar Al Baker, at a news conference held on the sidelines of the Bahrain International Travel Expo (BITE) in Manama yesterday. The airline currently operates 39 flights between Manama and Doha. “We are 100 percent committed to offering our customers the very best levels of service and travel experience,” he said. “Our enhanced flight schedules enable travelers from Bahrain to spend even less time transiting through Doha to make the journey quicker, convenient and even more enjoyable." http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local_News&subsection=Qatar+News&month=May2009&file=Local_News2009051822957.xml
