The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced that it will temporarily close the exit of Al Khor Community Roundabout leading to Al Khor Community Gate 1 from tomorrow until September 6.
During the closure period, motorists who intend to access the facilities or residential area within the work zone are advised to continue straight to the Industrial Roundabout 2, and turn left on the roundabout to access the local area as shown in the attached map.
Ashghal implemented this temporary closure to carry out pipelines laying works as part of design, build, operation, and maintenance of Al Thakhira Sewage Treatment Works project and transfer pumping station and associated pipelines.
Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the closure. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their and others safety. (Source)
