Launch, an annual professional development conference including a series of associated learning events for Qatari Nationals, has announced a range of keynote speakers including several high profile Qatari Nationals. Launch will host its inaugural two day conference on April 26-27, 2015 at the Hilton Hotel Doha, Qatar.

Launch facilitates the development of Qatari Nationals who are commencing their professional career through a two day conference featuring keynote speakers, interactive learning experience, goal setting, and reflecting and learning sessions, which are all focused on developing the future leaders of Qatar. The two day Launch conference has been specifically tailored to suit the participant’s profile and needs, as all of the high profile speakers have been carefully selected to inspire participants, provide them with real life examples and to also share their success stories.

Launch will be welcoming Aysha Al Mudahka, CEO of Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC), who will be delivering a Keynote Speech on Day One.

Other speakers on Day One include: Khalifa Saleh Al Haroon, CEO of H.U.G and ILQ Network and Creator of the Q-Tips Show; Mohammed Al Hayder, Founder at Takallam; Kevin Waller, Managing Director at ILQ, Elizabeth Fleming, Founder of Launch and Managing Director at the Qatar Development and Consultancy Center (QD&CC); Nicola Simpson, Learning Facilitator at QD&CC. Day One of Launch will focus on ‘Creating a professional dream you are passionate about’.

Meanwhile, Day Two will focus on ‘What will I do to reach my professional dream’, with the following speakers: Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director of Community and Public Relations at Ooredoo; Isra Al Jefairi, Co-Founder of Launch; Billye Vegh Atout, Senior Manager at Ooredoo Group; Lauren Fryer, Founder of Qanect along with Elizabeth Fleming, Nicola Simpson and Mohammed Al Hayder.

Ms. Fleming, Founder of Launch, said: “We are delighted to have such an outstanding calibre of speakers, including Qatari Nationals, who have achieved success in their respective fields. By having them all attend Launch and speak to our participants it is our desire that they will inspire and support Qatar’s Future Leaders. Launch remains dedicated to fostering a community of the future leaders of Qatari professionals through collaborative and engaging networking events.”

Khalifa Saleh Al Haroon, CEO of H.U.G and ILQ Network and Creator of the Q-Tips Show, said: "It doesn't matter if you're just getting started with a new business or if you're a serial entrepreneur, we all get doors slammed in our faces, people constantly telling us we can't do something, or that we're just not good enough. Our challenge is to weave through negativity and bring our business ideas to life. Ideas that, we hope, can make the world a better place.”

Mr. Al Haroon added: “What helps define a successful entrepreneur is how they overcome barriers that could hinder their success. My goal is to share some of the challenges I faced and how I went on to creating one of the fastest growing digital media companies in the country."

In addition to the annual two day conference, Launch provides a highly interactive series of learning events post the conference including: workshops, coaching and mentoring services, interactive web and social media advice, as well as networking opportunities through Launch Knowledge, which provides forums for discussion on issues and opportunities related to career growth along with an introduction to industry leaders and experts.

Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director of Community and Public Relations at Ooredoo, said: “Being true to your values as you develop your career is a key part of personal and professional development, and I hope this event gives us all a platform to learn and grow. I’m proud to be speaking at this conference and reaching out to the next generation of leaders, because I recognise the key role that the support of mentors and peers plays in nurturing talent and enriching people’s lives.”

Launch was founded by Elizabeth Fleming and co-founded by Isra Al Jefairi, due to their unwavering passion to establish an effective platform for the professional growth of Qatari Nationals to network and benefit from the expertise of leading industry experts.
