Gulf Paradise Hotel, in co-ordination with the Moroccan embassy in Qatar, is celebrating the 55th Independence Day of Morocco with a food festival entitled “Flavours From Morocco”. “We are indeed proud and honoured by the support extended by the Moroccan Embassy and the food festival is being held for the fourth consecutive year,” commented Fouzi Mohideen, General Manager of Gulf Paradise Hotel. “Moroccan chefs would be preparing authentic Moroccan dishes during the eight-day food festival that would include a variety of salads, the internationally famous harira soup and the main dishes which would include kus-kus, different tajine dishes and a selection of desserts ,” said Mostafa, the hotel’s food and beverages manager, who is a Moroccan national himself and a chef. There will also be vegetarian dishes. The festival concludes on November 25.
