The Supreme Education Council (SEC) plans to recruit more teachers from Arab countries for Independent schools for the academic year 2016-2017. Teachers will be brought in from Jordan, Sudan, Egypt, Morocco, Palestine and other Arab courtiers. It is expected that the tests and interviews will be held in March and April, Al Sharq reports.

A bachelor’s degree in the subject concerned and a minimum three years teaching experience are required for candidates, the SEC said. The age of candidates should not be more than 45. Those who have stopped teaching for the past three years will not be considered. Priority will be given to those holding a bachelor’s degree in education and those with postgraduate degrees. The SEC will supervise the interviews, with no agents. Candidates are not required to pay any application fees. Details can be had from the SEC website.
