In a tweet, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) reported that it had found and treated an injured flamingo on Bin Ghannam Island (Purple island) with the help of the ministry's teams and devices.
The Ministry reminds coast-goers to preserve wild creatures and not to encroach on them. The Ministry affirms that flamingos are prohibited birds, and whoever hunts them exposes himself to legal accountability.
