The Ministry of Labor has confirmed that necessary legal action is being taken to ensure that the wage protection system is being implemented by the violating establishments.
The Wages Protection System (WPS) is an electronic system by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and Qatar Central Bank that monitors and documents the process of worker wage according to the Labour Law No. (14) of 2004. This system ensures that workers receive their wages systematically and in a timely manner.
