Dead whale found at Sealine beach

[UPDATE as of 18 September 2022]

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change announced in a tweet that the ministry and its corresponding specialized unit were able to identify the cause of death of the whale that was washed ashore on 16 September 2022.

As per the Ministry, an expert in the field of Marine Biology from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change identified the cause of death of the animal to be most likely starvation due to old age.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change reported on their Twitter account that the environmental monitoring teams of the ministry spotted a dead whale in the Sealine area, on the morning of 16 September 2022.

A specialized team from the ministry dealt with the situation and took samples and measurements to conduct the necessary laboratory tests. The ministry posted a video of the dead whale on their Twitter account where the specialized team monitored the animal.
