In a tweet, the Ministry Of Municipality (Al Baladiya) announced that "within the framework of the work of the Veterinary Medical Licensing Committee at the Ministry of Municipality, during an inspection of many veterinary facilities, confiscated veterinary medicines that were not authorized to be imported, and took legal measures against the violating facility."

The Veterinary Medical Licensing Committee called upon owners of veterinary establishments to abide by the committee's decisions and to follow the approved legal mechanism regarding the registration and import of veterinary medicines.
