The Ministry of Interior has announced the arrest of an individual discovered to be forging official documents used to fulfill requirements for family sponsorship of residents who did not meet the necessary qualifications.
The individual has confessed to forging ID cards, housing contracts, bank account statements, and salary certificates while using forged stamps from government entities, banks, companies, and more.
The arrested was discovered to possess 64 forged stamps and other tools and devices used for forgery.
Additionally, 51 other individuals who had financially dealt with the accused have been summoned and were referred to the Economic and Cyber Crimes Combatting Department for legal action.
