Launch, an annual conference for Qatar’s Future Leaders, has announced that Aysha Al Mudahka, CEO of QBIC, will be the keynote speaker on Day One of Launch.

QBIC, INJAZ and Launch are inspired to support Qatari Nationals who are commencing their professional career. Launch, as part of their strategic partnerships as well as through future collaborations will offer a series of associated learning events, learning workshops and networking events, as all organisations continue to aid the Qatar National Vision through their development of the Human Capital.

The inaugural Launch conference will take place over two days on April 26-27, 2015 at the Hilton Hotel Doha. Launch has been designed and developed for young professionals who are commencing their career and seeking professional development, inspiration and job enrichment.

Launch focuses on equipping Qatari Nationals with the tools and knowledge to help them succeed professionally in a range of ways, such as ongoing coaching and mentoring support, networking amongst peers from a wide range of industries, along with sharing different learning and thinking styles. In addition, Launch also supports Social Development; the development of a just and caring society based on high moral standards who are capable of playing a significant role in global partnerships for development, one of the four pillars of the Qatar National Vision.

Ms. Elizabeth Fleming, Founder of Launch, spoke ahead of the conference and said: “Launch is a valuable proposition within our community – it is unique in that Launch supports both the delegates and the organisations who are placing these delegates. We have a wide range of industries already in attendance - these are some of the forward thinking industries within Qatar, which require our future leaders to stand up and be accountable for moving Qatar towards the 2030 vision.

“We are proud to provide real stories of courage, determination and competence from industry leaders and workshops that elicit deeper thinking about the personal contributions made by delegates within their current organisations. We offer a rich learning experience for our conference participants as they develop themselves within their current and future roles. We want to ensure the future leaders of Qatar are prepared and plan appropriately to further their careers within their existing organisations and beyond. We will provide a range of blended learning events along with multiple forums so that Qatar’s future leaders remain focused, connected and challenged.” Ms. Flemming concluded.

I urge young Qataris to seek what they are passionate about, be proactive, and make use of the great opportunities available to them.”

She added: "It's a privilege and a refreshing thing to see initiatives such as Launch take place in Qatar, as it is through workshops and dialogues that we can exchange ideas and form a new public discourse that includes leadership and entrepreneurship."
