Starting from 10 January 2021, Karwa will, once again, start charging commuters that use its buses again like it did before, according to a notification on the Karwa Bus App. The charges vary between QR 2.50 - QR 9 depending on the distance you are travelling.
In addition, commuters will no longer be able to purchase the Karwa Smartcards 24 hours limited and unlimited from bus drivers or merchants anymore. For the ease and comfort, of the commuters, they can now conveniently purchase the 24-hour unlimited QR Code Ticket through the Karwa Bus App (iOS/Android).
The rechargeable Karwa Smartcard will still be valid and can be used as usual.
