As per a report by the Ministry of Interior, The General Directorate of Traffic and The Qatar General Corporation for Electricity and Water (KAHRAMMA) launched a high-speed (100W) station for charging electric vehicles, at the headquarters of the General Administration of Traffic on 28 August 2023.
This launch was part of a bilateral plan between the Ministry of Interior and KAHRAMMA to promote sustainable transportation in Qatar by installing electric vehicle charging stations in various locations at the Ministry of Interior.
