IBQ has announced its sponsorship of this year’s Gulf Jazz Festival organised by the Scandinavian Business Council Qatar (SBCQ) which taking place today at 8pm. Under the patronage of the Polish Embassy, the festival will take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel and will feature several performances along with an exquisite dinner. George Nasra, Managing Director of IBQ said: “We’re very pleased to take part in this high-profile event and to be associated with top-level organisations such as the Embassy of Poland and the Scandinavian Business Council in Qatar. IBQ’s name is today strongly linked to a series of refined arts and culture events and our sponsorship of the Gulf Jazz Festival falls in line with our commitment to add value to our community by supporting these events, activities and programmes that help spread education and awareness.” The festival will feature three main performances. The first show will be an up-tempo jazz performance by the renowned singer and trumpet player Michaela Rabitsch along with guitarist Robert Pawlik. The second part will consist of a performance by the legendary Polish saxophonist Henryk Miskiewicz. As for the final performance, the attendees will be able to experience one of Sweden’s foremost Jazz singers, Vivian Buczek, who will exemplify her beautiful voice and outstanding uplifting performance skills.
