yatt Plaza celebrated Mother’s Day with a number of activities over eight days, including a live cooking competition in collaboration with W Doha Hotels & Residences. From March 14 to 17, hundreds of mothers were pampered with complimentary makeovers and beauty tips by Pari Gallery’s beauty experts. They were able to try some of Pari Gallery’s brands such as Shiseido, Sisley, Thierry Mugler & Make Up For Ever. On March 18 and 19 children enjoyed the arts and crafts competition and learnt how to make for their mothers bracelets, paper flowers, cards and shopping bags under the supervision of the teachers and volunteers from Qatar Centre for Voluntary Activities. “We believe that a handmade gift would be valued, and moms especially treasure gifts made for them by their children,” Hyatt Plaza’s marketing executive and project lead for Mother’s Day events, Neha Baliyan said. For the grand finale, there was a cooking demonstration conducted by W Doha’s executive chef Prakash Seetul. A cooking competition followed with three winning families getting driven in a limousine for a five-star dinner in the Spice Market restaurant at the W Doha. An interactive juice making competition organised by Yaquby Stores and sponsored by Princess Home Appliances was also held. “We are very grateful to our tenants and partners who helped us show our appreciation to all the mothers out here in Qatar,” Hyatt Plaza general manager Feroz Moideen said.
