According to QNA, the key purpose of the new law is to ensure fund to pay the workers 'benefits, which are settled by the labor dispute settlement committees. Moreover, this law aims to avoid actions that may take time and distress workers' ability to fulfill their obligations towards their families or third parties.
Financial benefits at the end of the service as well as the facilitation of the worker's return to his country will be much smoother out of this Fund. The Fund will also contribute to ensure a safe and healthy working environment as well as decent housing for workers which includes establishment of playgrounds, entertainment venues and social activities.
Moreover, the Fund will refer to the employer by legal means to recover the amounts owed to him and disbursed to the employee by the Fund.
This law will also bring good news for the private sector and domestic workers as the Fund aims to ensure their financial benefit as well.
