Launched by the Supreme Council of Health, the “Our Future lies in Our Health” campaign has rallied great support from a number of governmental, private and institutional entities in Qatar’s health sector.

In line with their social responsibility and their integral role in supporting initiatives aimed at elevating the Qatari society across all its facets – particularly in the wellbeing and health of its community members – these institutions have committed to promote and spread awareness around the campaign.

Among the entities and institutions that have lent their support and voices to the SCH campaign are the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Ministry of municipalities and urban planning, the Ministry of trade and commerce, Hamad Medical Corporation, QPost, Aspire Academy, the customs & port general authority, North Atlantic University in Qatar, University of Qatar, Vodafone , Al Meera Consumer Goods, Qatar Petroleum, as well as a number of schools based in Qatar.

These entities have previously extended unrelenting support to the SCH and its awareness mission; governmental institutions have created dedicated platforms across their headquarters to provide their employees with health information, advice and guidance that form the basis of the “Our Future Lies in Our Hands” campaign, which calls on Qatari community members to adopt healthy and balanced dietary regimens, quit smoking and lead active lifestyles. Private institutions have also distributed at their headquarters and branches educational brochures around the campaign to customers, families and sub-communities in Qatar.

Moreover, all entities that have rallied their support around SCH have called on their employees to take part of the campaign’s various programs and activities, which are currently held at a number of public spaces – specifically at malls and shopping centers – whereby the SCH is dedicating awareness platforms and areas for people to run free preliminary tests that cover BMI (Body Mass Index), blood pressure and insulin level measurement.

Through their commitment to the campaign, participating entities worked alongside the SCH in instilling the high moral values upon which the Qatari community is built, collaborating to reach the largest share of the Qatari community’s various segments.

The “Our Future Lies In Our Hands” campaign is a unique initiative launched by the SCH, and aimed at building a healthy future for the Qatari community in line with the council’s continuous efforts to instill a health culture in the society, and with the national health strategy and the Qatar National Vision 2030’s human development pillar.
