The Ministry of Interior, in a tweet on 1 July 2023, announced that the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement apprehended four men involved in trafficking and distributing drugs in several locations.

After obtaining permission from the Public Prosecution, a search was conducted at their residence, discovering bags, packets, and capsules containing different types of drugs.
The seized quantities include 421 grams of shabu, 370 grams of hashish, and 800 grams of heroin. Additionally, two electronic scales used for weighing the drugs were also found.
They and the confiscated items have been referred to the Public Prosecution to initiate the necessary legal procedures in this matter.
