Qatar Expo Event Management (Qatar Expo) and EPOC Messe Frankfurt, one of the world’s largest exhibition management companies, signed a co-operation partnership to organise the 9th edition of International Furniture and Design Exhibition and Awards (INFDEX 2010). The four-day event will be unveiled at Doha Exhibition Centre on November 10, 2010. Qatar Expo and EPOC Messe Frankfurt are joining forces to develop INFDEX 2010. The event, which is Qatar’s only major interior design and furniture expo, continues its evolution into a regional event by serving GCC & international markets and attracting an expected 30,000 trade and public visitors., said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO, EPOC Messe Frankfurt GmbH. “There is a tremendous focus by international and regional companies, on discovering and nurturing new business opportunities in GCC. This new venture is our first step into the Qatar market which is a very attractive place to do business. The partnership with Qatar Expo will capitalize on the expertise and experience of both companies to maximise business opportunities for the interior design industry and companies exhibition at INFDEX 2010, he added. The joint collaboration between the two exhibition industry leaders will add fresh impetus to INFDEX 2010 as the exhibition looks to increase the 3000 new design ideas and 140 exhibitors from INFDEX 2009. Both companies will work towards the common goal of establishing INFDEX as a truly regional show and a ‘must attend’ event on the international furniture and design industry calendar. EPOC Messe Frankfurt will work closely with the Qatar Expo team and its worldwide representatives to put together a winning strategy to increase and enhance the value and exposure of INFDEX 2010.
