H.E. Lolwah Al Khater, Qatar's Minister of State for International Cooperation, announced on 4 December 2023 that the first group of Palestinians have arrived in Qatar from the Gaza Strip to receive medical treatment.
They arrived aboard a medical evacuation plane from Qatar's Emiri Air Force.
On 3 December 2023, H.H. the Amir directed for the treatment of 1,500 Palestinian brothers and the sponsoring of 3,000 children who had lost their parents due to the aggression in the Gaza Strip as part of religious, national & humanitarian duty.
H.E. Lolwah Al Khater also thanked the Arab Republic of Egypt, especially the Ministry of Health and the Egyptian Red Crescent, for assisting in the transportation facilitation.
