The Corniche area enveloped in a dust cloud yesterday morning. Windy and dusty conditions prevailed throughout the day in Qatar with strong winds both onshore and offshore. Sources at the Meteorological Office said the windspeed reached 20-35 knots onshore and 25-45 knots offshore. Visibility was reduced to 500m in the morning but it improved later in the day. It is likely to improve further today but the wind will continue to be strong, according to Met officials. The maximum temperature will be around 28 degrees C and the minimum 14 degrees today
