Traveling has never been as easy and delightful in Doha with the opening of all Doha Metro lines. Today Doha Metro's Green Line has started its operation. The line extends from Al Mansoura to Al Riffa (Mall of Qatar) which means it completes the pilot operation of all Doha Metro lines.

In addition to that, Doha Metro starts its service for Hamad International Airport station and for Katara, Qatar University and Lusail on the Red line.

The BIG news is here! Your traveling around Doha is a lot easier now as The Ministry of Transport and Communications announces that the test operation of the Doha Metro Green Line will start this Tuesday, Dec. 10, which means test operations for all Doha Metro lines will have been conducted.
The green line extends from Al Mansoura to Al Riffa (Mall of Qatar) which covers 11 stations, such as Al Mansoura, Msheireb, Al Bidda, The White Palace, Hamad Hospital, Al Messila, Al Rayyan Al Qadeem, Al Shaqab, Qatar National Library, Education City and Al Riffa.
Operation timings will be from Saturday through Thursday from 06:00 to 23:00. On Fridays, the operation timings will be from 14:00 to 23:00.
Metrolink services will be available during these timings to transport passengers from and to metro stations from the areas near the stations.
Qatar Rail also announced that the new stations in the Metro Red Line will be opened the same day, making all three lines almost fully operational. These stations are Hamad International Airport, Lusail, Qatar University, and Katara. According to Doha Metro's Twitter account, Legtaifiya will open by next year.
